Client description

MetLife is one of the world’s largest providers of insurance, annuities and employee benefit programs, with 90 million customers in over 60 countries.

Assignment

To design and develop a solution that integrates information and data from different sources, about different insurance products, to serve the management of the entire portfolio, and to provide different types of reports and documents for further processing, in addition to extensibility.

Implementation description

Prior to the implementation, a comprehensive requirements analysis was carried out, which included intensive workshops with the main future end-users of the solution. The workshops helped to understand in detail how they work with the information in focus and what their real needs are. During the implementation itself, further requirements and improvements were incorporated, with these coming both from the client and from our team. We formed a joint team with the client with a common goal. Client:MetLife Europe d.a.c., a branch of an insurance company from another Member State. Data on multiple insurance products sold through multiple partners is collected through different integration channels in just one place.

Historization

For each product and each client, all data is recorded from inception to termination. It is also possible to view the status and conditions of a product at any point in time from its history.

Flexibility

Quick extraction of required data for reporting needs for different products, as well as flexible incorporation of required changes, whether functional or just graphical, for the best user journey and experience.

Carefree

The solution is completely provided as a service (SaaS). All operational activities and tasks are delivered to the client as part of this service (from ensuring the software is up-to-date, to backups, to resolving Security Issues).

Result

More efficient and convenient portfolio management, increased data quality, automation, auditability and historicisation.

Expanding the solution according to business needs and intentions (mainly with new products and partners), but also with new functionalities that will bring an even greater degree of automation to repetitive and routine activities.
